Somebody sent me a demo version of Managing Your Money 4.0 from MECA Software, Inc.. Does anybody out there use this program? How is it? The demo seems ok, but real life can show warts that a demo never will. Please email; I will summarize to this group. I use MYM 4.0 to do the following: 1. Keep track of 2 checking accounts (+ write checks from both); 2. Keep track of stock purchases on my employee stock purchase plan; 3. Keep track of all our credit cards (bank, gas, dept. store); 4. Keep track of 3 IRA's, 4 savings accounts and 2 loans I have at the credit union; 5. Keep track of my 401(k) plan and life insurance policies; etc. etc. etc. I use it more for tracking than for the planning/budgeting (maybe I'll get there someday). It's a great program! I used to use Quicken but got frustrated with its lack of ability to keep track of more than one account per "file." The check-writing abilities alone are worth the price! =============================================================================== Steve Witten stevewi%hpspdra@hplabs.hp.com Intelligent Networks Operation ...!hplabs!hpspdra!stevewi Hewlett-Packard Co. stevewi@hpspdra.spd.hp.com
