My site only recently began receiving news so please excuse me if I'm being repetitive. Every time sendmail is invoked on my system the message "Cannot open /dev/console: Bad file number" is printed on the users terminal. It makes no difference whether sendmail is invoked directly or by a mailing program. I was waiting for MtXinu's bug reports to be delivered before I posted here but it arrived today with no mention of my problem. I am not at all sure which module is producing the error message. If anyone has seen this problem or has an educated guess as to what it might be please send me mail. If more info is needed please advise.
