I am building a document that is basically one big table. The primary table entries are a date, a number, and then a BIG description field. The descriptions can run many lines long, which (obviously) reduces the number of table entries per page. As a result, the table flows over many pages. What I'd like to do is have Word start each new page with the "header" row (row 1) from the table. Is there an easy way to do this? I know I could copy the first row, and paste it into a header. The drawbacks with this approach are the spacing below the header, and the fact that if I change the row headings, I have to re-cut and re-paste the header... Is there an easier, more automated way to do this? I've even resorted to reading the manual, but it doesn't say anything about flowing tables over pages.
