i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, and haven't had the time to try all the normal tests, but why is it that illustrator 3.0 can create font outlines fine (with ATM 2.0, Adobe Type 1 fonts) but Freehand 3.0 beeps at me and tells me that i don't have the correct kind of outline files in my system? Does freehand use AFM files? sheesh, i'm going to have to really dig around for those. Any help would be appreciated... --Darryl Lee 6600dayl@ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu
