I need to transfer a document from Microsoft Works on a Mac LC to Word on an IBM. I used the Apple file utility to write a PC disk, but Word doesn't understand the file. The best way I can think of is to save it as unformatted text (Text only), and then transfer it and re-format it in Word. You'd have to redo the formatting but it's probably faster that way than editing out all the junk. Any other suggestions? (BTW, the quote is an old one from Mark Twain) John D.

Word 4 on the Mac can read RTF format, it is likely that Word on PC does also. If there is no opportunity to go back and re-save the Works file in an alternate file then I think it's hopeless. Unless there is a Works for the PC.
