If you mean the MacWrite file format as used in MacWrite 4.5, 4.6, and 5.0 then it has been published and is available upon request from Claris Customer Relations. If, however, you mean the MacWrite II format, then that is proprietary, but is relatively freely licensed (without charge). In either case, XTND 1.3 will be shipping from APDA next month and will include translators for both those formats. The MacWrite 5.0 translator even comes with source code.
