Greetings. We are in the process of documenting a number of items on the Macintosh. However, the powers that be have decided that the documentation should be done in Ventura on Windows. There are a number of screen captures (color or gray scale bitmap PICT, using FLASH-IT) I would like to transfer to Ventura, but so far I have only been able to get MacPaint files to transfer properly. I have tried TIFF, PICT, and EPS, but Ventura will not accept PICT that includes bitmap information, and the TIFF and EPS are giving errors. I also tried bringing the different formats into Ventura thru a second program, such as Hijack or Corel Draw, but I was encountering the same problems. Any ideas? I would like a format created on the Mac that Ventura can read directly. I am able at the moment to capture a PICT image, place it in a GIF file, transfer it to Windows, and use Hijack to transfer it to PC paintbrush so that Ventura can read it. However, this is a long process. Any ideas are welcomed. I would like to find a free or shareware solution, but I will consider commercial products. Regards, and thanks, Jason D Blue jblue@mwunix.mitre.org The MITRE Corporation
