Hi, there, Would any people tell me if there are any INIT/CDEVs which enable me switch among different applications under Multifinder by just typing some keys? (like shift-tab). I get tired with moving the mouse and clicking. I know that I can use QuicKeys to do this. But I only have a Mac+ without hard disk, I have no room in my startup disk to store QuicKeys. I can use AutoMac III, but I have to install such Macro with different applications. Thank you very much for your info. --Tony Lim

I get tired with moving the mouse and clicking. OnCue 1.3 will allow for this; I currently use CMD-~ to switch between apps. Unfortunately, v1.3 is not compatible with System 7.0 (aaagh!), so I am back to using the mouse (and, of course, Dean Yu's !MultiFinder extension) to click on the Application icon. Some year ICOM may actually release OnCue II. I haven't held my breath thus far.... :-) -- | Paul E. Even easier, get a copy of Switch (it's now at v1.01). This enables you to do two things: 1) pick a hot-key that will switch between tasks 2) switch between tasks just by clicking the multifinder icon It's nifty, and it was just posted here yesterday (I think). If you missed it, try sumex-aim.stanford.edu... --Erik PS - a suggestion to the author: make #2 optional. Often I click on the multifinder icon just to see what I have running, and if I don't move the mouse deliberately, it switches tasks. I like the hotkey, though... -- Erik Bailey | 7 Oak Knoll | Thinking Machines Corp. ejb@think.com | Arlington, MA 02174 | 245 First St. harvard!think!ejb | (617) 643-0732 | Cambridge, MA 02142 /earth is 98% full.
