I have the opportunity to buy Taste (a word processing package retailing in the $100-200 range) and Ultrapaint (an 8-bit paint program retailing in the same range) for under $90. I have read an old Macworld (Macuser?) report on Ultrapaint, but haven't seen anything on Taste, other that short blurbs. If anyone uses these thwo products, please let me know your opinion. Ditto if the product has any limitations that are not well-known (such as a clumsy interface, or bugs, etc.). By the way, I plan on using these on a MacII-class machine, possibly a IIcx, running either system 6.0.7 or 7.0, and possibly, in the future, A/UX. I may also run it in 32-bit mode on a 24-bit color monitor in the distant future (will it crash?). -- David Richardson U.
