Is there a utility that will look at an image of how a hard drive should be, look at the hard drive, and then move every unwanted file into a folder called 'etc' or something of the like? It should look at the first K or so of the file to make sure it's the actual file in question, and it definitely shouldn't delete the stuff that shouldn't be there. It should also look on all attached devices for copies of the missing stuff, and install them automatically. I know there's something called 'wipeout', which kinda does the first part, but it's not what I want (even if it worked well). Send email, my brothers and sisters. -- Alan Aitken Ramaley (415) 326-9546, P. O. Box 9217, Stanford, CA 94309 Intern (soon to be coterm), Genentech Aquarius
