[comp.sys.mac.apps] Extracting files from .zip archives

barry@world.std.com (Barry L Wolman) (06/27/91)

My son downloaded some amateur rocketry files from a bulletin board.
Unfortunately, he didn't know that .zip files are an IBM PC archive
format. I'd appreciate a pointer to a Mac program (preferably free)
that can unpack .zip files.

Thanks
Barry

ZipPop is way out of date (it was only current for about a month:). There
is a mac program called UnZip which does (or did) handle the current
Zip formats. It is probably available at common archives. -- Don
