Dear all,
I am trying to find a robust, (fairly) fast functional language
compiler/enviroment and would like to hear from anyone who has a compiler
that is available for use now (or sometime in the very near future). If you
could drop me some e-mail with the details, I would be most grateful. If there
is the interest, I'll summarise the responses to the group later.
I am especially interested in the following details:
o Language (including a brief description of the lang. features)
o Description of the compiler
- stand-alone binaries ?
- incremental compilation ?
- foreign language interface ?
- X windows interface ?
- etc.
o Description of the environment
- debugging features available ?
- special editors ?
- use of windows ?
- etc.
o Speed of executables
o Size of executables
o Machines supported
o Is the compiler supported ?
o Any other tools available for the language (transformation etc)
o Availability to industrial sites
o Name of someone I could badger for further details
