[comp.lang.functional] Where can I ftp source for Lucid from?

ldl@newton.uvm.edu (Louis D. Langholtz) (10/18/90)

Assuming that Lucid is in the public's domain & that its attainable for
free... I sure would like to get the source code for a Lucid interpreter
(or compiler) for a conventional Unix machine. I have Sun4s,
Encore Multimax, and a PowerIRIS sgi. If the code runs on a Unix
machine but not one of the above, still let me know -- I'll try porting.
    Thanks in advance.

Is that Lucid LISP or Lucid, the dataflow programming language?
I'll assume the latter: try
	faustini@enuxha.eas.asu.edu or
	vindalu@enuxha.eas.asu.edu or (last resort)
	nelan@enuxha.eas.asu.edu

[I think it's free - maybe $50.00 or something - it runs on UNIX (suns)]

Reminds me of an amusing story. One time Ed Ashcroft was invited to
speak about Lucid for a silicon valley (I think) group. Pretty soon,
people started scratching their heads and so on. Turns out they thought
he was from Lucid LISP.
