The Norwegian force in the Trondheim region surrender, its commander
accusing the Allies of withdrawing without warning.

Hitler postpones the launching of Fall Gelb until 6 May.  Colonel Oster of
the Abwehr warns Dutch Colonel Sas, military attache' in Berlin, that 
Germany will likely invade the Netherlands soon.

General Huntziger, commander of the French 2nd Army, orders the removal
of several anti-tank barriers which were constructed without orders in
the Ardennes region.

The USSR and Germany announce their common desire to observe the
neutrality of Sweden; it is rumored that the Soviet Union had sharply
warned Germany to keep out of that nation.
