Britain and German exchange night raids on each other's capital cities.
London is hit by 240 aircraft, while RAF bombers report the heaviest
AA concentrations over Berlin so far.

Marshal Badoglio warns Premier Mussolini that the conquest of Greece
will require 20 divisions and three months time; he is instructed to
continue with preparations for an attack.

Berlin sources reveal that a small number of German troops have been sent
to aid the Italians in North Africa, primarily to study the effects of
the environment on northern Europeans in preparation for a larger German
commitment there.

Charles Lindbergh broadcasts a plea for Americans to elect a
non-interventionist president.
