Greece denies the allegation that her troops have invaded Albanian
territory.

At 9:00 pm, Italy notifies Germany of her impending attack on Greece.
Receiving the message while in France, Hitler takes no immediate action,
but orders his personal train re-routed to Italy.

General de Gaulle, broadcasting from the Belgian Congo, announces the 
formation of a Free French War Government, with himself as Chief 
of State.

The New York World's Fair closes, following a two-season exhibition.
