The Greek Army enters Koritza, Albania, capturing some 2000 prisoners
and large quantities of equipment, including 135 guns. With a few
exceptions, all the invading Italian troops have now been forced
back into Albania.

In the United States, the Dies Committee reports on subversive
activities, including pro-Nazi and communist fifth-column efforts.
The report warns, among other things, of German efforts to penetrate
South American governments.

Australia revises its war budget, devoting 20% of its income to
military expenditures. Tax increases are proposed to fund the
increased spending.
