Tokyo signs a peace treaty with the Wang Ching-wei government
of China, thus giving official recognition to this puppet 
government.  General Chiang Kai-Shek dismisses the treaty as illegal.

Over 320 German aircraft raid London and Home Counties by night.
The November tally of British civilian casualties stands at 4588 killed, 
6202 injured.

General Charles de Gaulle announces that the strength of Free French 
combat forces has now reached 35,000 trained troops and nearly 1,000
pilots

As Italian resistance begins to stiffen, the drive of Greek forces into 
Albania slows.  Fighting is heaviest around Argyrokastron, an important 
Italian base in southwest Albania.
