Estimated Italian losses are around 10,000 killed, while Commonwealth forces have suffered fewer than 500 casualties. The remaining Italian forces in Libya, under General Bergonzoli, continues to withdraw toward Tobruk in hopes of holding a defensive line there. Moscow recalls its ambassadors to Rumania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Yugoslavia for consultation.
