Winston Churchill issues orders for "The Battle of the Atlantic."
He stresses the need to defeat the U-boat menace and to counter German
maritime bombers.

Another Greek attack in Albania achieves local success, capturing key
heights and 1000 Italians.  RAF and Greek aircraft support the attack.

German aircraft again mine the Suez canal, delaying reinforcement of
Greece and North Africa.

German officials condemn 18 members of the Dutch resistance to death
for their part in unrest in that region.

The US Government restricts the movement of Italian diplomats within
its borders, and requests the closing of two of its consulates.
