permission to launch an offensive in Libya by the end of May.

Spain officially annexes the International Zone of Tangier.

Ethiopian tribesmen besiege the Italian camp at Debra Marcos.

Anthony Eden, British Foreign Secretary, meets on Cyprus with a 
Turkish delegation.

Walking in Times Square, German agent Lido is struck dead by a taxicab.
In Lido's baggage at the Hotel Taft, FBI agents find a report on the
defenses of Pearl Harbor and Hickam Field... "that will be interesting
to our ......(Japanese) friends"
