I was reading in "Freedom in Exile", where during the summer of '53, the Dali Lama received the _Kalachakra_ initiation. He said it was one of the most import initiations in the Tantric tradition with special significance for world peace. First off, what is the initiation talked about and why is it significant for world peace. Secondly, what is the Tantra he is talking about. Is it part of Buddhism, or is it a separate thing? I have heard of alot of sexual things associated with Tantra, but I have a feeling he was talking about something else. Info? Explanations? Thanks. -wat-
