Sub: Heads I win tails you lose Friends, In the kind of world we inhabit at the present, we have become pawns in the hands of very few like Saddam , Bush, Rajivs ...... and many more that we have started to run from the reality[subjective] to be emancipated from the present to a past which is not certainly the immediate but few centuries old........ Once we set our clock mechanically backwards, we never the modern man never wants to live a new life with 'cos he takes his dirty present to the past and wants to redefine it .............. Why????????????????????????? This complex problem cannot be simplified 'cos it is just not characterising the man but trying to characterise his alter ego...... Well, guys should'nt we think more, than trying to debate which sutras and which period of Buddhism was better ...... In the past were we would like to go, there was no religion nor any comparison there was only direction. that is what we have missed........ [i guess] to realise in our search for emancipation...... with Zen , Christianity, or Hinduism ...... they were not religion ........ but something more..... they cannot be treated like some bargains in a bazaar[shops] to judge which is better and which is bad..... they were different guys....... This would probably be the first and the last posting of mine but certainly i would like to tell you an ancedote from "As a matter of Principle`` by J.Krishnamurthi, in one of his lectures, he says if you have seen a bird flying in the sky, did u ever realise how happy the bird flies in the skies and enjoys every moment of its life, unlike we fighting at every point in time for survival.... It is never scared of death nor to live in the present...... but certainly is he a human being who thinks not biased by any thought nor follows them blindly but shall find for himself the TRUTH.... Thanks all for your time............. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is greater task to conquer oneself than to conquer others....... ---------------------------------------------------------- Buddha------------ lead kindly light amids the gloom...........
