I would just like to mention a couple of points. Why is it that reports from Grenada are censored and why was a Canadian jet not allowed to pick up our citizens? I dont want to get involved in this. I just hope that you Americans have a good reason for doing this. micomvax!frank Montreal, Canada.

C'mon, folks! Can we PLEASE move the two-sided paranoid mudslinging to the proper areas (net.flame, net.politics, net.null, etc.), so I can ignore it all at once? There's a nice article in net.announce on some of the basics of the net, including the purposes of some of the most misused newsgroups. I'm not trying to be nasty, I just wish the few hangers-on would give those of us with tired right-hand index fingers a break. B.K. (not usually a flamer) Cobb p.s. Now wait a minute.
I am not sure if I see all those signs pointing to the same conclusion.
While we *UNDOUBTEDLY* have been duped by Reagan at least twice (Watt's
pranks spring to mind, along with the "New Cold War"), I'm not so easily
convinced that we're seeing the careful engineering of the administration
("regime"?) in action now.
The ONLY thing that I'm sure of is that we should be given the facts, all
the facts, and nothing but the facts (apologies for that) about this "crisis"
and the Lebanon problem. Something is happening that we aren't being told,
but you can't convince me that the situations are occuring due to Reagan's
careful engineering.
