COMMENT     The dnaZX gene codes for two proteins of different molecular
            weight: the X protein (Mw 75000-83000 d) and the Z protein (Mw
            52000-56500 d); the mechanism by which the two proteins are
            generated is unknown.  The proteins are probably subunit tau(X)
            and
            gamma(Z) of DNA polymerase III
