COMMENT The virus DNA in the clone pPfHF was sequenced by the Maxam &
Gilbert method. When the sequence data were compared with the
sequence of the homologous gene from Autographa californica nuclear
polyhedrosis virus they were found to share 82% similarity at the
DNA level and 88% similarity at the amino acid level.
