I am about to begin work on a new grader program for the math/cs department at
my school and am looking for suggestions and/or source code from others who
have already designed and implemented one. By a "grader program" I mean
routines that facilitate the collection, listing & executing, and grading of
students' assignments. Our several hundred C.S. students are split on two
VAX 11/780s running 4.2BSD, connected via Ethernet, and the grader should be
able to handle this split load. We are also interested in implementing
utilities to perform such functions as statistical checks and comparisons of
students' programs, ie. list of variables used, number of loops, etc.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
