COMMENT     There are 12 and 1/3 (125 bp) tandem repeats found in the BamHI-H
            fragment of the EBV B95-8 genome. It is thought that they play a
            regulatory role. A 2.5 kb open reading frame, overlapping the
            repeats is also found in this fragment. It is thought to code for
            the early antigen (EA-R). The precise start and end of this coding
            region has not yet been determined. [Unpublished (1984) Dr.
            Hayward, Johns Hopkins Univ. S. of Medicine] resolved the conflicts
            between [J. Virol. 48, 135-148 (1983)] and [EMBO J. 3, 813-821
            (1984)] in favor of [EMBO J. 3, 813-821 (1984)].
