I'd really appreciate it if those of us who work on fancy workstations at PARC and have fancy software which doesn't make them notice the existance of the newline character would kindly take pity on us mere mortals and insert these very useful codes at apropriate places in their texts. The Halley's Comet Comment which I received consisted of one extremely long line and was more than a little unreadable, especially since somewhere along the line someone's mailer couldn't handle it and hacked it up, leaving me only the first few 'lines' of text.
