[net.music] The Sonics reissued

Just a quick note about the Etiquette label out of Seattle, WA. In the
past couple of years they've been doing a great job of reissuing classic
60's Northwest rock. The first two Sonics albums, ``Here Are The Sonics''
and ``The Sonics Boom'' have been, and maybe still are, in print. Last
year Etiquette issued a compilation of the two LP's called ``Full Force''.
The compilation has classic Sonics tracks such as ``Psycho'', ``The Witch'',
``Strychnine'', ``Cinderella'' (recently covered by Seattle's Moberleys),
``Boss Hoss'', plus many many more.

The British invasion (the stuff that came out on record, anyway) of the
the same period looks positively anemic when put up against this. Then
again, so does a lot of the hardcore that's coming out today.

Does anyone know if The Wailers albums are in print anywhere? I found a
copy of ``Out Of Our Tree'' at the flea market recently--complete with some
extra grunge ground into the disk for free--and it shreds. There was a box
set, ``The Northwest Collection'', that had all the early Sonics and Wailers
LP's, plus some other seminal Northwest rock... but I think it is once again
out of print. Anyone know?
