This would appear to be the first time that so many people are in space at the same time. However , the fact that there are soviets and americans in space at the same time , and that the americans are caryying a military payload , does not neccassarily mean that it is some sort of destructive weapon. It is probably some sort of surveilance device. If it isn't ,oh well. if the USA and USSR decide to start military eptification in space , then it is very sad. Perhaps they should not be in space at all. Raymond S.,
