HEAR! Back in 1974 when I was in USAF tech school in Illinois, I heard what must have been the new ELP album blasting out of a room. I was so im- pressed, I banged on the door and insisted on knowing what it was. Turned out to be "Illusions on a Double Dimple" by Triumvirate. It has remained one of my favorite albums. Triumvirate "rips off" ELP right down to the Rickenbacker bass, Ludwig Octa-Plus drum kit, and even their placement on stage, but like Dave Blickstein, I can always tell them from ELP. Good music is good music, that's all! "Hello! I'd like a double dimple." Dan Hall decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-beta!hall
