[sci.psychology.digest] PSYCOLOQUY moved from TCSVM to PUCC

harnad@clarity.Princeton.EDU (Stevan Harnad) (01/29/91)

Important changes for PSYCOLOQUY subscribers:

TCSVM ---> PUCC PSYCH ---> PSYC

Old location of PSYCOLOQUY list: listserv@tcsvm.bitnet
New location of PSYCOLOQUY list: listserv@pucc.bitnet

Old name of PSYCOLOQUY list: psych
New name of PSYCOLOQUY list: psyc
(Note: no "h")

Old address for posting messages to list: psych@tcsvm.bitnet
New address for posting messages to list: psyc@pucc.bitnet
(Note: no "h")

The PSYCOLOQUY list has just been moved from listserv@tcsvm.bitnet
(Tulane University) to listserv@pucc.bitnet (Princeton University)
because Princeton is a Bitnet Backbone site and will be able to handle
the traffic better. CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS NEED NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES; they
will automatically continue receiving PSYCOLOQUY at the address they
subscribed with.

The instructions for signing OFF (unsubscribing) have changed, however.
If you wish to remove your name from the list, instead of sending the command:

unsub psych

to listserv@tcsvm.bitnet, send the command:

unsub psyc

to listserv@pucc.bitnet, which is where the list now lives (note that
there us no longer an "h"). Messages for posting to the list should no
longer go to psych@tcsvm.bitnet but to psyc@pucc.bitnet (note again, no
"h").

New subscribers should henceforth send their:

sub psyc Firstname Lastname

command (no "h") to listserv@pucc.bitnet (please do NOT subscribe if
you are already subscribed or you will receive 2 copies of every
issue).

The above also applies to psych subscribers from listserv@finhutc.bitnet,
which has now been merged with the psyc list (again, no "h") at pucc.

There is no change for those who access PSYCOLOQUY through Usenet as
sci.psychology.digest

Many thanks to John Voigt at Tulane University for his many years of
helpful collaboration, and welcome to Chris Dietrich at Princeton
University.
