[comp.dcom.sys.cisco] Encryption Anyone?

rhott@volleydog.nswc.navy.mil (The VolleyDog) (06/01/90)

I saw an article sometime back about the Cisco TGS? It
was supposed to interface to KG equipment. Is
this some special feature of the TGS, or are
the AGS, MGS, etc... also capable of doing the
same?

Has anyone had experiences with cisco devices
and either KG-81s or KG-94s?

Thanks, Bob Hott

All of cisco's chassis types can interface to crypto gear. It requires you
to build a cable which can get the right pins to the right place but that
is just SMOH (simple matter of hardware). The TGS is a certified Tempest
shielded chassis.

Drop a note to customer-service@cisco.com if you need customer references
of people who have used KGs.
