			     Beta Site Application
for the 8.2 Software Release of
Gateway Server, Terminal Server and Protocol Translator.

cisco Systems, Inc. is accepting applications from cisco customers desiring
to be a beta site for the next software release (see below for a sampling of
features). The beta test will begin during the late summer and we are looking
for a few good test sites. Becoming a beta site is an opportunity for you to
interact with cisco Systems to refine new features and ensure that your needs
are met. An integral part of this interaction will involve reviewing beta
documentation to provide accurate descriptions of these new features.

Selection of sites will be based on applications which best match the criteria
outlined below. Note that all selected sites will be required to sign and
return a Beta Test Agreement prior to receiving any software or documentation.

Please remember that the software and documentation will be beta test versions
only - this is not a software release. As with any beta version, sites must be
prepared to deal with serious problems that may affect their progress until
a resolution is available.

If you are interested and meet the requirements, please fill out the
application form below and mail to release-master@cisco.com by July 30, 1990.
The first round of consideration will be based entirely on your response to
this message, so please try to be complete.

If you have any questions about the beta test, please contact a member of
cisco's Release Engineering Group at (415) 688-8245.

We look forward to working with you in the future.
