We are having a problem setting a "default-route" on our cisco Boxes. They are running EGP (on one) and IGRP on all the rest. The Box running EGP also contains some static routes for interior routes, and redistributes static and EGP for IGRP. Everthing works fine on our network but we have problems reaching the innernet from the boxes only running IGRP. The only route they have is for 26.0.0.0 (they can reach any 26.*.*.* address). The manual tells me that IGRP will set up a "default route" "auto- matically and dynamically". The only problem IGRP may be having is The EGP/IGRP box is running software release 7.0 the other box is running 8.0. Is there a way (if my software is to out of date) to set up a default route on a cisco box. We could run RIP instead of IGRP. Tim Drake
