Greetings; I am running ver 8.0(9) on an AGS. I currently have IP and DECNET routing enabled. Last Monday morning, I enabled Novell routing. Servers showed up, everything looked fine. Got a call today from a person who had been doing RDUMPs across the net. Seems they had stopped working about...Monday morning, of course! :-) Anyhow, after some debugging, we determined that blocks of size 2 went thru, but the default block size of 20 got stuck. I disabled Novell and reloaded my config. The cisco told me that Novell was not enabled, but the procs were still running. So, I hit the big red switch. Tried another RDUMP, and big blocks (20) worked just fine. Has anyone got any ideas why Novell routing would cause RDUMP to get eaten while using big blocks? I have the whole thing on disk, BTW. (Used my Lanalyzer to scarf packets. Thanks, Bob Currier Network Communications Duke University Durham, N.C. 2706 rdc@bobsun.ac.duke.edu
