We're having problems bridging IPX. We recently installed a second fiber ethernet backbone which is well beyond spec (it's about 16,000 feet long!). IPX traffic traveling through the fiber backbone gets corrupted. The ciscos seem happy to forward mangled packets. Apparently, the IPX protocol doesn't support end-to-end check summing, so these errors cause major problems. If I turn on IPX routing, well the ciscos ignore the mangled packets?
