Could someone please tell me how cisco is going to implement priority queueing by what they call "sub-protocol" (e.g. telnet has higher priority than ftp)? Will the hosts have to be changed to set TOS bits in the IP headers? Or is there some other mechanism for distinguishing the upper layer protocols? Also, will the priority feature be available on high speed serial interfaces, i.e. greater than 56 Kbps?
