A Cisco CGS have been recording ipOutDiscards at a rate of about 6 per minuit. I issued a show buffers and it isn't even close to being out of buffers. What other things cause an outgoing packet to increase ipOutDiscards? This Cisco stopped allow remote logins as super-user too. I brought a terminal to the console and the passwords were correct. I can get on the console remotely but any password I issue after I type 'en' is rejected although the configuration lists the password as valid. I'm running 8.1(14) w/bridging. I'm going to try and get in early tommorow and see if a reboot will clear things up.
