We seen some bridging problems on a few routers running: GS Software (GS2-BR), Version 8.2(1) Copyright (c) 1986-1990 by cisco Systems, Inc. Compiled Mon 10-Dec-90 13:12 by mlb Novell clients can't see servers the other side of the router. We are NOT routing novell, just bridging: bridge 1 protocol dec interface Ethernet 0 ip address 129.79.3.110 255.255.255.0 ip broadcast-address 129.79.3.255 appletalk address 328.110 appletalk zone Ethertalk bridge-group 1 ! interface Ethernet 1 ip address 129.79.110.254 255.255.255.0 ip broadcast-address 129.79.110.255 appletalk address 110.228 appletalk zone Union Ethertalk bridge-group 1 Clearing the bridge table doesn't help, reloading the router does. Other relevent info: MCI 0, controller type 1.1, microcode version 1.5 96 Kbytes of main memory, 4 Kbytes cache memory, 10 system TX buffers Restarts: 2 line down, 0 hung output, 0 controller error Interface 0 is Ethernet0, station address 0000.0C00.2F81 26 total RX buffers, 24 buffer TX queue limit Transmitter delay is 0 microseconds Interface 2 is Ethernet1, station address 0000.0C00.2F82 26 total RX buffers, 24 buffer TX queue limit Transmitter delay is 0 microseconds Is this a known problem? Any cures? Steven Wallace ssw@silver.ucs.indiana.edu
