[comp.dcom.sys.cisco] Enviromental Conditions Board

PADWA@HUSC3.HARVARD.EDU (Danny Padwa) (01/29/91)

Does anyone know if the environmental-sensor board on an AGS router is
accessable to the user? We would ideally like to be able to monitor it via snmp,
as a cheap way to remotely monitor our machine room temperature.

Any leads on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I asked about this when we first took delivery of our AGS+ boards, and I
thought that they said that a later major release might make that information
available. Maybe 9.0?

I wanted to do the same thing (and also monitor the voltage from the power
supply). Last I checked, cisco hadn't provided any hooks to allow that.
Perhaps if we all clamor for it.... :-)

Consider us "clamored".
