We're considering some data compression bridges for our cisco serial lines as a way to get more from our bandwidth. Anybody out there doing the same thing? Any plans in cisco to do this in the router? The boxes we are considering is the Microcom LAN Bridge with 4:1 compression. We would have a separate Ethernet to tie the bridge to the cisco, and are routing DECNET, IP, and plan to route IPX. -- John Stigall - Indiana University Computing Services Network 750 N.
