According to cisco field notice "Notice of CSC-MCI Jumper Settings", dated 31-Jan-1991, MCI ethernet cards may have been shipped misjumpered to talk Ethernet V1 instead of V2. Short of cracking open every blasted cisco router we have deployed in the field and pulling them apart :-( is there any way we can figure out whether our cards are misconfigured? Is there a magic command we can issue to ask the cards to tell us how they are optioned? Aaron Aaron Leonard (AL104), <Leonard@Arizona.EDU> University of Arizona Telecommunications, Tucson AZ 85721
