Could anyone comment on the FDDI interoperability of cisco (AGS+) and Wellfleet (Concentrator Node) routers, preferably naming a reference site which has both these systems working together successfully? I can understand that there may (would) be problems with handling ethernet bridging, but I know that getting FDDI systems working together currently involves a lot more than that. > Could anyone comment on the FDDI interoperability of cisco (AGS+) and > Wellfleet (Concentrator Node) routers, I can't comment specifically on cisco/Wellfleet interoperability but I can say that cisco interoperates quite well with a number of vendors here at Cray. These vendors include SUN, Network Systems, Apollo, Evans & Sutherland DEC, Silicon Graphics (actually an Interphase board), and Network Peripherals. I believe that Wellfleet OEMs their FDDI interface but I can't recall who they get it from. Joe Wenker Cray Research, Inc.
