We have cisco routers using arpa encapulation over ethernets,
286 novell bridges, and aviion portable netware servers routing
novell over ethernet without problems. I currently have as many as
three equal distance routes to the same novell network over different
combinations of the above routers.
We did experience some problems early on with 8.1(?) not properly
recognizing some portable netware servers via SAP. I don't remember
the details but they were fixed when we went to 8.2. We are now
running 8.2(3) on our ciscos.
Currently, we have high tcp/ip traffic and low novell traffic through
the ciscos and we are not seeing any of the problems you describe.
