Greetings.

Above is a schematic of some of our campus network.

The suns on 130.127.8 occasionally start barfing out messages to the
effect that 130.127.16.9 and 130.127.16.39 are bogus routers.

I am not in charge of, and don't maintain anything below and including the
cisco router, but I have been asked to help figure out what is going on. It
seems to me that what is probably happening is that the cisco router is
(wrongly) propagating routing information broadcasts from 130.127.16.9 and
130.127.16.39 onto 130.127.8. Does this sound likely? Has anyone seen
this before? Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thanks.
