I have for sale a Tandy Model 100 portable computer. This is a _very_ portable non-MS-DOS computer which is useful for taking notes, simple word processing, database, BASIC programming, as a portable terminal, etc. The computer itself has been modified (in such a way as to be totally reversible, leaving no trace): -It holds five Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries instead of the standard four alkalines, and charges them whenever the machine is plugged into AC. -The internal modem now has a direct modular phone connection, making the standard bulky adapter cable (included anyway) unnecessary. -The internal RAM has been expanded to 32K (the maximum it takes). I also have many things to go with it: Portable Disk Drive 2 (holds 200K on 3.5" disks, better than PDD1), Bar Code Reader & extra software (plugs into dedicated port), Cassette deck w/ special cable (the small deck, with preset for data), Lots of unused data cassettes, Hard plastic custom-fitted case (holds computer with accessories), Hard plastic case (holds computer alone), Printer cable (prints to standard parallel printers), Modem cable (for internal 300 baud modem), Serial cable (for use with faster external modems), AC adapter (will charge Ni-Cads even while machine is in use), Original manuals and boxes for most items. Traveling software's DOS (much better than the one supplied by Tandy), Supera (a multi-function enhancer - makes the built in stuff _much_ nicer), (I can't seem to find the manuals for these last two items.) I'd prefer to sell this as a package, but I will consider offers for individual items as well. I'll also consider offers of trades.
