With a rash of XmList gripes, I'm reluctant to post, but here goes... I have an XmList in Browse select mode. Every time the user selects an item in the list I do some processing (as the browse mode implies); however, I only want to do the processing when the user lands on an item and stays there (i.e. If the user holds down the up or down key and zips through the list, I don't want to process each any every item. I'm only interested in the item in which the user stops on). Any suggestions? I'm thinking about using Xt timeouts but this brings up another question. The "events" generated by timeouts, are they XEvents or some sort of interrupts? The O'Reily books kinda left this issue vague. thanks again! rich -------------------------------------- Rich Mayfield (rich@bryce.llnl.gov) who works at but does not represent Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
