Why doesn't /usr/ucb/talk on alliant (Concentrix 5.0.0) work the same as the (public domain release of BSD4.3), since you can't talk for instance through a xterm window started with a remote shell while this is possible when you install the talk distributed with BSD4.3. Also I've heard that some other tools doesn't work correctly but when you get the BSD source of it and install it it works. Is this rumor correct??
